Amber has more than 15 years' experience in journalism, but has recently made the switch to screenwriting and has been diving head first into the film industry. She began working as a production assistant on several films in the Florida Keys, and in the props department. 

Her first short film, Staying Afloat, was optioned and produced in April 2023. Since then Amber has been working on an animated film project,  Tourist Town, that she is writing and producing, and Mile Zeros, a new comedy film series in the Florida Keys.
